Fall 2018 Newsletter Now Available.

Cygnus Diving Fall Newsletter 2018

Plans are well underway for the 2018-2019 training and competition season.  An open house will be held September 17th at Centennial Pool, with the full training season starting September 22nd. More details and registration info to come.

We are excited to introduce a beginner diving program “PLOUF” this year. Along with other minor changes to the program streams the coaching team is excited to get back behind the boards supporting our divers. Please check out the PROGRAMS page for more information.

There is a Learn to Dive camp opportunity July 23-27. The camp will run at Centennial Pool from 9-11:30, and will include dryland training and pool time.

We will be offering a NEW Learn to Dive program for Fall 2018. This program will be specifically for children ages 6-12 as a fun way to introduce them to the sport of diving. We’re keeping the details under wraps for now, but will be releasing details soon.

Calling all pool parents and athletes!

We’ll be hosting divers from
Ontario, Quebec, New
Brunswick, and
Newfoundland – it will be a
great weekend of diving.
Many of our Learn to Dive
athletes don’t yet have enough
dives to compete in this
competition. We are planning
to host a small participation
competition before the end of
this year so that all divers will
have a chance to experience a
competition. Stay tuned for
details!

There are many volunteer shifts to fill over Atlantics weekend.
Even if your diver isn’t diving in this competition, they are
encouraged to attend some of the events to cheer on their
teammates, and parents are encouraged to come help and see how
a diving competition is run.
